Privacy for JPO To-Do List

4 October 2026 · Version 1.0

This notice covers JPO To-Do List from JPO GLOBAL. The app does not need a JPO account. It has no advertising, advertising tracking or third-party analytics.

Your list on your devices and in iCloud

To-Do List saves task titles, notes, priorities, ideas, completion and removal history, and list preferences on your device. When iCloud is available, the app syncs your list through Apple’s CloudKit service to private iCloud storage belonging to your Apple Account. Use the same Apple Account for iCloud on iPhone and Mac to use the same list.

JPO GLOBAL does not receive or have access to your private iCloud task content. The app does not upload your list to a JPO server. Your list uses your iCloud storage allowance. Apple operates iCloud under its own privacy policy and terms.

Offline changes remain on the device until syncing can resume. Syncing occurs while the app is open or when you reopen it with internet and iCloud available. Lists for different Apple Accounts are kept separate. If the app offers to add device-only tasks to iCloud, it asks you to confirm first.

Keeping your information private

Protect your device and Apple Account with their security settings. Someone with access to an unlocked device may be able to read its saved tasks. The app does not offer manual file imports, exports or backups. iCloud sync is not a separate backup history, and changes or deletions can sync to your other devices.

Removing and permanently deleting your list

Removing a task keeps it in Recently removed so you can restore it. Removed tasks and completed tasks remain part of your saved and synced list until you permanently delete that list.

To erase the list belonging to your current Apple Account, open Privacy in the app and choose Delete all tasks permanently. The app asks you to type DELETE ALL TASKS. This action requires an internet connection and access to iCloud; if it cannot complete, the app reports a problem instead of confirming deletion.

After success, the current account’s tasks, ideas, notes and history are cleared from this device and its private iCloud list. A reset marker remains so another device cannot put its old list back into that account. Other devices clear their saved copy when they next sync. Until then, an offline device can still hold an older copy. The app cannot undo this action.

Device-only tasks waiting to merge and other Apple Account lists are kept. Uninstalling the app does not erase its iCloud list. Copies you made outside this version of the app, or copies held by device or cloud recovery services, are managed separately under your settings and the relevant provider’s terms. We cannot retrieve or remotely erase your private list for you. Use JPO Support if you need help understanding a storage or deletion message.

Apple purchases and device services

Apple processes App Store purchases. To-Do List does not receive your card number or bank details. Apple may process purchase information, service information and diagnostics under your Apple settings and its terms. Apple’s own data practices are separate from task content held in your private iCloud list.

If you contact support or open a website

Support opens in your browser and is optional. The JPO support website uses a verified email address and stores messages you choose to send, together with information needed to operate and protect the service. Your task list is never attached automatically. Do not include private task notes, passwords, payment details or identity documents.

Support and website records are covered by the JPO website privacy policy. That website policy describes the website and support service; it does not mean that To-Do List uploads your private iCloud list to JPO. The website and its host may process network information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure webpages. Reading the bundled privacy notice inside the app does not open a website.
